Visit to Guru Vishram Vridh Ashram
Our Newers spent this weekend at Guru Vishram Vridh Ashram. Team Pahal along with a few #Newers visited around 110 elderly people and it was an inexpressible experience. The Old Age Home is a non-profit organisation which is running a free service for the elderly who are either abandoned or lost and cannot take care of themselves. They have also a small medical center setup in the same building so that basic medical help can be given to them at the earliest.
Our volunteers spent a few hours with the elderly, chatted with them, indulged in some art and craft, danced and shared a laugh. Here is a glimpse of that day!
