When we say UI should be consistent, It means user should be able to remember clickable action at once and able to use on other similar screens. Also we need to take care font sizes, color and actionable links. If you have the same functionality or similar operation, It has to give same and consistent across the entire application.

4. Relevant information must be easily accessible

A designer should put the most relevant information or content upfront so that it will easily accessible. When your designs have the right and relevant information which can be easily accessed, user’s will be easily and feel like to access other pages. Don’t let users go through two or three clicks for one operation.

5. Design should be aesthetically pleasing

A beautifully designed UI helps users to understand the solution and guide them to perform a task. They feel an emotional connection that makes user to remember the application. Do not use so many colors so many colour in designs because it creates optical illusions and poor contrast.

6. Screens should be to the Point.

8. Feedback

A good design is intuitive, efficient and easy to work with but to reach to a level where it can be used by a user, it has to pass several through several levels of stringent process. The process generally works in a to-and-fro model starting from What/Why of the project, then moving to Understanding the Purpose/Concept. After the idea is conceived the next step is to start with the Design, it then further goes to the Development stage for binding it with functions with the help of coding. When the design is fully functional, there are paraments on which the design is judged at the Testing stage.

When the product is tested and ready it is good to go for Launch. After the product is out for users, it is crucial to get feedback form time to time as the statistics and suggestions from the users helps in determining what kind of experience does a user like or prefer and how it can be made better.

I hope above mentioned things would be insightful and will not only help to bring a good UI design—but also you will improve the quality of life for IT and their customers alike.
