{"id":52837,"date":"2018-03-28T16:19:05","date_gmt":"2018-03-28T10:49:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tothenew.com\/blog\/?p=52837"},"modified":"2018-03-30T14:06:52","modified_gmt":"2018-03-30T08:36:52","slug":"to-the-new-organized-and-sponsored-techfluence-2018-the-most-happening-tech-conference-of-delhincr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tothenew.com\/blog\/to-the-new-organized-and-sponsored-techfluence-2018-the-most-happening-tech-conference-of-delhincr\/","title":{"rendered":"TO THE NEW Organized TechFluence, 2018: Highlights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/techfluence.in\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">TechFluence<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, 2018 is a community-driven technology conference organized by TO THE NEW on 24th March 2018 in Crowne Plaza, New Delhi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have been organizing GrailsConf, an independent series of global conferences with a complete focus on Groovy, Grails, Gradle and the related technologies from last 5 years. \u00a0This year we decided to make it technology agnostic by including areas such as Cloud, <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tothenew.com\/devops-automation-consulting\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DevOps<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Docker, <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tothenew.com\/blockchain\/blockchain-app-development-services\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Blockchain<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, AI, ML, Microservices, Data Engineering &amp; Spring.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The main aim behind organizing this conference was to provide a platform to tech community to learn, interact and share knowledge with like-minded people.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first ever series of the conference was highly successful and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">garnered a lot of interest from the community. The event featured many renowned speakers and technology experts from organizations such as Amazon, Cloudinary, Accenture, Quatrro, Ofbusiness, eJavaGuru, Codalien Technologies, OpsTree Solutions, Mettl, Nykaa and TO THE NEW. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">250 people attended the conference and witnessed 16 sessions in total.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Here\u2019s a quick rundown of the conference.<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>The event started with an insightful keynote by <b>Rajesh Dhuddu<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Nasscom Blockchain SIG Chair and Senior Vice President of Quatrro Processing Services. Quoting examples of a few blockchain unicorns such as Coinbase, Omisego and Quantum, he concluded: \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The next Indian unicorn in BlockChain is a reality and not just hype<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">?\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During his talk, he also emphasized on the importance and usage of cryptocurrencies. He quoted &#8220;<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Commerce is not only limited to business to business or business to person, but it is also now machine to machine and this is where cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology will enable highly secure and minute transactions<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-52838\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-ttn-blog\/uploads\/2018\/03\/20180324_101023.jpg\" alt=\"20180324_101023\" width=\"4032\" height=\"1960\" srcset=\"\/blog\/wp-ttn-blog\/uploads\/2018\/03\/20180324_101023.jpg 4032w, \/blog\/wp-ttn-blog\/uploads\/2018\/03\/20180324_101023-300x145.jpg 300w, \/blog\/wp-ttn-blog\/uploads\/2018\/03\/20180324_101023-1024x497.jpg 1024w, \/blog\/wp-ttn-blog\/uploads\/2018\/03\/20180324_101023-624x303.jpg 624w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 4032px) 100vw, 4032px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><b>Track 1: DevOps and Cloud<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The very first session by <\/span><b>Sanjay Suri<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, CTO, Nykaa, focused on the tips and key considerations when migrating from monolith to microservices at scale.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This session was followed by an astounding session by <\/span><b>Soham Maheswar<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, an Alexa Evangelist at Amazon started the session by an introduction to the Amazon Alexa, and the Alexa Skills Kit while illustrating why Voice is the next significant disruption in computing. The speaker also emphasized on working of Alexa cloud service and best practices in voice design.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moving forward, <\/span><b>Sandeep Rawat<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Co-Founder and CTO of OpsTree Solution, explained a step by step approach to containerize a legacy application through a case study. The next session by <\/span><b>Nitin Bhadauria<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was on \u201cBuilding Your Own CI\/CD\u201d started with the introduction of Continuous Integration, Delivery, and Deployment and how these concepts work in practice by constructing your own <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tothenew.com\/blog\/dev-test-ops-the-way-forward-for-continuous-integration-continuous-delivery-cicd\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CI\/CD<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> pipeline.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, one of the most awaited sessions of the day by<\/span> <b>Abhishek Mahanty, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services presented a long heritage of Machine Learning at Amazon and various innovative AWS products like Amazon Go, Amazon Polly, Amazon Lex and what not.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-52863\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-ttn-blog\/uploads\/2018\/03\/AWS-TECJF-1.png\" alt=\"AWS TECJF (1)\" width=\"400\" height=\"267\" srcset=\"\/blog\/wp-ttn-blog\/uploads\/2018\/03\/AWS-TECJF-1.png 400w, \/blog\/wp-ttn-blog\/uploads\/2018\/03\/AWS-TECJF-1-300x200.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><b>Track 2: Emerging technologies<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The track started with <\/span><b>Samrat Kishor<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Accenture, discussing on how different industries like BFSI, healthcare and others are availing the best of the blockchain.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the most talked technology today, Google Assistant. <\/span><b>Neha Sharma<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, founder JSLover presented an enthralling discussion on how one can start with the development of voice-based bot and how does Google&#8217;s technology help in doing so.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was then followed by one of the most interesting session by <\/span><b>Manoj Nama<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> where along with the introduction of VR and core concepts and terminologies, the session comprised of creating 3D models and he exhibited the VR app. Check out his code at <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/planet-vr.surge.sh\">https:\/\/planet-vr.surge.sh<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Track 3: JVM and backend<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The track started with a session on Enterprise messaging patterns by <\/span><b>Bhuvan Gupta<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, co-founder of OfBusiness. Followed by the session on JVM Black Magic &#8211; Profiling and GC where <\/span><b>Prakash Balodi <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">discussed as applications grow, it becomes essential to know how one should go about profiling a Java application and also how to use the metrics obtained by profiling for fine tuning the application.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The next session was on Mixed media for web and mobile developers by<\/span><b> Hadar Bejerano<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Solutions engineering technical lead at Cloudinary, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">he briefly explained about Image &amp; video optimization and manipulation on the fly. Also, talked about the ways of handling user-generated content for both images &amp; videos, how to create video from animated gif and vice versa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-52867\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-ttn-blog\/uploads\/2018\/03\/F09A2147.jpg\" alt=\"F09A2147\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1365\" srcset=\"\/blog\/wp-ttn-blog\/uploads\/2018\/03\/F09A2147.jpg 2048w, \/blog\/wp-ttn-blog\/uploads\/2018\/03\/F09A2147-300x199.jpg 300w, \/blog\/wp-ttn-blog\/uploads\/2018\/03\/F09A2147-1024x682.jpg 1024w, \/blog\/wp-ttn-blog\/uploads\/2018\/03\/F09A2147-624x415.jpg 624w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>Pulkit Pushkarna<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> covered another interesting session on Spring 5 and reactive Web where the audience was able to explore the pillars of reactive programming and for a better understanding of Reactive Programming for the audience, he walked them through some of the code samples using Reactor and Spring 5.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Session five of this track was on Java 8,9,10 &#8211; What the future holds by <\/span><b>Mala Gupta,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> founder of eJavaGuru.com.
