The Founders

Deepak Mittal- An IIT-Delhi alumnus, Deepak is the CEO at TO THE NEW where he leads the development and execution of long-term business strategies. Over the past decade, he has led many strategic initiatives that have had a positive impact on multiple business areas, driving down costs, increasing revenue, and improving the overall performance of the organization.

He is an effervescent thinker who is passionate about enabling digital transformation for enterprises and is constantly working towards empowering companies to champion operational efficiency and customer experience. Under his leadership, TO THE NEW has witnessed tremendous growth with an impressive geographical expansion. Besides, Deepak laid the foundation of the company’s growth by constantly promoting strong moral beliefs that the company has significantly committed to through a wide array of social welfare practices.

Raman Mittal- As the CMO of TO THE NEW, Raman is responsible for spearheading branding and marketing at TO THE NEW and to communicate its “so very exciting” story to the world. Raman is known for bringing crystal clear solutions with technology and analytics-driven digital marketing while growing profitability for the company. Since inception, he has been working towards building the corporate marketing from the ground up and constructing successful rebranding to propel brand metric to the higher level.

With his thought leadership, Raman is widely acknowledged & recognised as one of the most influential personalities in the ecosystem. He has rightly been able to strike a balance between the traditional and new techniques of marketing to help the company achieve new levels of growth.

Narinder Kumar- With over two decades of rich experience in the IT Industry, Narinder is the COO at TO THE NEW. Having worked across diverse industries, different countries and performed different roles, Narinder has immensely contributed to making TO THE NEW as one of the most respected engineering companies in India.

Narinder describes himself as a practising Technologist, learning Entrepreneur, and passionate Product Developer. He is a big proponent of Cloud, AI/ML, Data Engineering, and Security and firmly believes that technology can indeed help in making the world a better place to live.

Satya Sharma- Satya Sharma is the CHRO of TO THE NEW. He is a master at hiring the “right” talent and has played a key role in setting up and flourishing people-friendly culture at the company. Satya, with his extensive experience in the field of Human Resources, manages all matters related to the company’s most precious asset – its talent. With over 15 years of experience, Satya has expertise in Human Resource Management and is responsible for creating effective HR policies to manage about 1400 employees at TO THE NEW. Satya secures the company’s long term growth by leading all training, talent acquisition, and career development activities for accelerated growth of the organization. As the CHRO, he plays a strategic role in driving the vision of the company through its people.

The roadmap of TO THE NEW since inception
TO THE NEW started with a bunch of passionate techies in 2008, and now has grown into a family of 1400+ Newers, spread across our three locations – New Delhi, Dubai, and NYC, catering to over 200 customers worldwide.

In 2008, when the entire world was staring at one of the biggest depressions, TO THE NEW came into being. Its birth in the toughest of the times helped the company in two ways – first, it had to be very cutting-edge with a clear differentiating factor, and second, it was imperative for TO THE NEW to have strong values and culture to attract and retain top-notch talent.

TO THE NEW started engaging with internet product companies and ISVs based on the engineering strength, agility (read Scrum!), and nimbleness that it offered to its customers. Within a span of a few years, TO THE NEW increasingly started engaging some prominent product companies (some of them from Silicon Valley) and along with it, global visibility. All this while TO THE NEW kept investing in new-age technologies, including Cloud and Data.

In time, TO THE NEW started working with large enterprises, providing them with digital transformation services and soon became their preferred partner. The major part of this is attributed to the company’s understanding of digital and its unique combination of having the processes of a mature company and the agility of a start-up.

During this journey, TO THE NEW won many awards & accolades, set-up multiple Practices, set-up offices outside India and won customers across 25+ countries.

Future plans
TO THE NEW continues its growth story across global markets. We are targeting a revenue of INR 750 Crores (USD 100 Mn) by the year 2023. We are witnessing strong growth in the Cloud technology space, especially in sectors like FinTech, EduTech, Internet & e-Commerce, and HeathTech.
