Digital Celebrity Index 2015 is out and so is the celebrities’ digital media report card.

Among Bollywood stars, Salman Khan has emerged as the most dabangg star in the digital media ranking. Indicating Salman as the most digital savvy celebrity followed by Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan respectively. <Happy dance time> for all Salman Khan fans.

When it comes to being the most active celebrity on social media, Priyanka Chopra topped the chart with a total number of 531 posts.

This year’s Digital Celebrity Index is different from the past editions, since the past reports were based mostly on Twitter and this is the first time the analysis has gone beyond Twitter and focuses on multiple digital platforms.

Coming back to report, Bollywood’s Dhak­Dhak girl, Madhuri Dixit with an engagement score of 11.8 million emerged as the most engaging celebrity basis the number of likes, comments and shares on social media.

Deepika Padukone fans, don’t lose heart, she is also in the race. You guys have got her crowned as the celebrity with the largest audience. Yes, Deepika has the biggest fan base of 43 million on social media.

* Digital Celebrity Index is an annual social media analytics report based on the research conducted by the Analytics Services arm of TO THE NEW. The report considered past months of digital activities of the celebrities and includes analysis of their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages and their search trend analysis.
