Responsibilities

• Prepare rough sketch drafts according to requirements
• Combine hand-drawing and painting with digital media to create complete illustrations
• Refine artwork with illustration software (Photoshop, illustrator et al.)
• Participate in design briefs with clients, editors and/or marketers to identify their needs
• Brainstorm with the design team to come up with new ideas, patterns and styles
• Stay up-to-date with new design techniques and software

Requirements

• Excellent skills as an Illustrator
• Demonstrable portfolio of completed illustrations
• Solid knowledge of image editing and digital sketching software, like Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
• Drawing skills with an attention to detail (both by hand and digital pen)
• Strong aesthetic and conceptual skills
• Ability to collaborate and meet deadlines
• Degree in Design, Visual Arts or relevant qualification
• Candidates must have excellent freehand drawing and digital colouring skills 
• Expertise in colouring illustrations in Realistic, Semi- Realistic, and in Stylized styles. 
• Candidates having experience from the animation Industry will be given preference.
• Able to work under tight deadlines and perform exceptionally under pressure
• Must have a good portfolio with experience of working on different styles
• Ability to generate out of the box ideas
