A day before GR8Conf EU 2016

It’s finally here. The 2016 edition of GR8Conf EU in Copenhagen is starting from today.

We have been coming to GR8Conf EU from last 5+ years. Just like every year, the line-up of sessions & speakers is really great. The Global part of the conference is accentuated by the attendees & speakers who are coming from 20+ nations.

Today, we are going to kick-off the conference with the University Day followed by 2 days of conference. The schedule is available here. We also have a couple of sessions lined up where we talk about Giving back to the Grails community – Migrating Plugins from 2.x to 3.x & The GR8 road to #fame. For today, I am really excited about Ryan Vanderwerf’s session on Getting Groovy With Lego Windstorms EV3.

All the speakers and organisers got together last evening for the Speaker’s dinner by the GR8Conf. It was indeed a great dinner with a lot interesting conversations. The energy and the cohesiveness of the community was really visible throughout the evening. Below are some of the pics:
