Summary
You would be involved in building business critical consumer facing and enterprise mobile applications on the Android platform.
Responsibilities
- Create architecture and technical design for mobile solutions using design patterns and common solutions
- Work with cross-functional team including designers, information architects, back-end developers to create optimum integration solutions
- Write scalable and maintainable code solutions for complex engineering challenges
- Understand and follow standards, guidelines, and best practices adopted in the project
- Appreciate & Develop high quality Front-End/UI patterns for mobile devices
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience with strong OO design and programming skills in Java & knowledge in Kotlin
- Understanding of architectural principles like MVP & MVVM
- Excellent knowledge of Android SDK, SQLite, MySQL, ORM or similar database management system
- Excellent working knowledge of Android Studio & M obile UI guidelines and Best practices
- Experience of developing and distributing applications via enterprise channels or public app stores
- Experience with popular third-party libraries for networking, image handling etc
- Experience in integrating analytics and tracking solutions (Eg. Firebase)
- Previously mentored team of android developers
Good to have:
- Experience with React Native, Flutter or any other cross platform framework or mobile technology
- Highly motivated and collaborative team player with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
